Turn prices
into ownership.
$TAG turns the everyday prices you pass into tokenized stock. Look at a price, earn points, redeem for the company you choose. This is how it works, and why it exists.

01The idea
Every price tag is a fact about the economy, and a company you could own a piece of. Prices are everywhere, free, and rich with information. But normal people never capture that value; the data has always belonged to institutions like Bloomberg, Nielsen, and OPIS.
$TAG hands it back. Look at a price, own a slice of the company behind it. Millions of phones become a decentralized sensor network for what the world actually costs, crowdsourced and owned by the crowd.
Own the market by paying attention.

02How it works
- Snap a price. Open the web app, point your camera at any price: a fuel pump, a menu, a shelf tag, a clothing tag, or a gadget.
- We verify. Your location is auto-captured. OCR reads the price. Any currency is normalized to USD at the day's rate. The photo is checked and de-duplicated.
- Earn points. Every verified scan earns TAG points. Scanning and earning are free.
- Redeem for stock. Hold $TAG to redeem your points for a tokenized stock, either the one you want or the one tied to that segment.
03Why it's different
Spend-to-own models require a real purchase; you have to buy something first.
Observe-to-own. No purchase, no cost. The most universal action there is: reading a price.
04The two layers
Layer one, the consumer. Scan prices, earn points, redeem for tokenized stock. A public map of everyday prices builds itself, one verified tag at a time.
Layer two, the data. The aggregated prices become a real-time price and inflation index, a ground-truth view of what things cost everywhere. This is the data institutions pay for, crowdsourced and owned by its contributors.
05Tokenomics
$TAG is your key to the platform. Scanning is free; hold $TAG to redeem points into stock, raise your tier, and boost. Points are a share of a fee-funded weekly pool, never a fixed liability, so the reward can never be drained.
| Tier | Hold | Daily cap | Scans/day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scout | $50 | $5 | 15 |
| Tracker | $500 | $25 | 25 |
| Surveyor | $1,500 | $50 | 40 |
| Cartographer | $3,000 | $100 | 50 |
| Oracle | $6,000 | $200 | 60 |
Caps are ceilings, bounded by the reward pool. The reward pool is 2.56% of $TAG trading volume (creator fee 2.5% + a share of the base swap fee): 80% funds the stock reserve, 20% the treasury. Rewards come from trading fees, not from any brand.

06Honesty
- No fixed returns. A point is a share of what the pool actually funded, never a guaranteed rate.
- Backed by real reserves. Every redeem is real tokenized stock, held in the vault. Reserves must always cover outstanding points.
- Earn-gate. Points bank only while you hold your tier at scan time, so you can't farm free then buy in to cash out a backlog.
- Privacy. Photos are cropped to the price tag. Locations are stores, not you. Contributors stay anonymous.
07Questions
Do I really get stock?
Yes. fractional tokenized shares, redeemed from real reserves. Hold $TAG to redeem.
Do I need to spend money?
No. You photograph a price, you don't buy anything. Scanning and earning points are free.
Where does the reward come from?
Trading fees on $TAG. A fixed share funds the stock reserve. Brands aren't involved.
What stops fake scans?
Live-camera capture, photo + location checks, de-duplication, quality scoring, and staked bonds for high-value scanning. Bad scans earn nothing.
